Block After Block

Hey dolls! Had to run errands today for my dad, so I decided to play with the basics and go back to what Lauren Conrad calls it "The American Uniform." Also known as jeans and t shirts, but again since Coachella is just a day away. I had it in mind as a peg for my outfit. Now I don't think I would ever wear jeans to Coachella(if I ever do get the chance to go) or a music festival per se. With such a simple ensemble, I just needed to accessorize.

What I Wore: Pink Belter: Kimono Jacket, Forever 21: Jeans, V-neck, Department Store: Sandals, Parisian: Envelope Clutch, Mia Casa: House of Harlow inspired necklace, Rebel Gear: Fedora, Nava: Baroque sunnies

The difference a kimono jacket can make! I swear it can instantly morph your simple outfit to something Nicole Richie would have put together! When in doubt wear a kimono!

Currently my favorite pair of sunnies! Ever since I've seen Lady GaGa wear the one from Prada, I have been dying to own at least something similar to it! Thanks Danika for reserving me a pair in Nava

Till next time dolls!

Walkin' in My Shoes

Hey dolls! I am super sorry for not updating within the last 2 months! Reasons being I have been so busy with school work since 1. I am on my last term and 2. I am technically working on a thesis and other school work. I really do apologize again for neglecting my blog and other obligations(ang termmmm!) I have promised to blog or promote! I really hope you dolls understand. With that I won't promise to be constantly updating for the next 2 weeks, but I will try my best since its almost finals week. Cross my fingers that I do well! hehe

Lets skidaddle to the outfit post! Wanted to go for something a little bit more casual but add a sorta kinda indie vibe. Mainly I had Coachella in mind since it is coming up! I hope I achieved that.

What I Wore: Topman Lady GaGa sweatshirt, Bench DIY cut-offs, Forever 21 necklace, SM cap, Rolu boat shoes

Thanks again Rolu for another amazing pair of boat shoes! Definitely check out their website and order yourself a pair! I swear you will not regret it! BTW, to the ladies who have been wanting a pair,  I think they have designs available in you women's sizes! Check out this entry I wrote about Rolu back in January!

Thats all for now dolls! Stay tuned and till next entry!

My Inner Scotty Cunha

Hey dolls/bellas! Sorry for the short hiatus! Anyways I'm back and here I am giving you guys a brand new outfit post. I'm actually excited writing this entry since 1. I felt inspired by my friend Patricia's entry "My Inner Aria Montgomery," so I decided to make my own version or an alternate version! 2. I am still on a Lucy Hale high(more on that soon). 3. I have been dying to wear this shirt.

My inspiration for this look were two people! Of course Lucy Hale, but mainly her best friend aka THE hair guru to the stars, Scott Cunha! Patricia and I have been saying since the moment Lucy Hale arrived in Manila that she would be Lucy and I'd be Scott! Anyways here it is!

What I Wore: Bench Lucy Hale tee, Forever 21 shorts, Ralph Lauren belt, OS cross-bone necklace, Vans white plimsolls

Random: Pat/Tippi, I found these readers from my pile sunnies from the Hawaiian Punk! Let me know if its whose it is! :)

Thanks to my brother Migz for taking my outfit shots!

Thats all for now! Scotty, if you're reading this it was nice meeting you during Bench show!

Blue Jeans

Hey dolls/bellas! Another outfit post for you guys! I am on a roll now with my entries! I wore this ensemble for New Year's Eve. Yes another very late post! hehe

What I Wore: Forever 21 jeans & denim jacket, People are People shirt, Rolu boat shoes

The moment I saw this denim jacket at Forever 21, I immediately fell in love and simply couldn't let it go. BTW, its under Heritage 1981(brand under Forever 21). I've been abusing this jacket almost everyday. I just love the fit of the sleeves, the tribal print at the back and how its quite cropped at the back.

Enjoy the rest of your week dolls!

Pawn Shop Blues

Hey dolls/bellas! Here I go again with my apology for neglecting my blog. I've been sooo wrapped up with different events such as Katy Perry's Concert and a lot more! Come to think of it, these last few weeks I've been out almost every day! Anyways I'm back and this time I will try to blog much more often! Its a new year and I want this blog to grow even more! For this entry, since I haven't done an outfit post for some time, here I go! If you're wondering what up with the title, well I've been in love with Lana Del Rey's album! It is just pure genius. Think cigarettes, flowers and everything dainty when listening to her! Anyways onto the post!

This look shot was actually taken way back on Christmas day, I just failed to blog about it during the holidays! Anyways I wore this to my family reunion, I wanted to go for something much more casual and try out the whole 1 color look. Hopefully, I do not look like the "Blue Ranger."

What I Wore: Valera shirt, Bench chinos, SM belt, Rolu boat shoes, Buddha jade beads

Shout out to my brother Migz who took my outfit shots!

Thanks again to Rolu shoes!

Rolu Shoes

Hey guys!

I apologize for the very late entry! The past weeks have kept me busy with schoolwork, not to mention finals on top of everything else. Anyways I’m back and here I am writing my very first and again very late entry for 2012.

My good friend, who had just started his line of footwear called Rolu gave me a pair of boat shoes to blog about. I have to say the moment I saw them I literally freaked at how nice they were. Also since I’ve never seen boat shoes with such a vibrant color. Style and quality wise they are AMAZING. Plus can I mention how comfortable they are? They have also easily become my new everyday shoes. What’s great about them also is whenever I wear them; I always get compliments on how they’ve never seen a pair of boat shoes in that color or generally how nice they look! Another plus is how easy they are to incorporate into your wardrobe and your everyday look may it be running errands or going to a party.

Currently Rolu carries only men’s shoes in sizes 8-10.5 and are priced at 2400 pesos a pair. They're also made with 100% Filipino craftsmen and dedication, which is great. They have their signature boat shoe in different colors and color combinations, that you’re bound to find a pair that suits you and your personality. I’ll be posting the details at the end of this entry on how you can purchase a pair.

Thank you again sooo much Rossini Lu (designer)!

Marni X H&M

HOLA DOLLS/BELLAS! I'm so happy, to see that my view counts really went up after my Greyson Chance entry. Now I know the key to all of your hearts! More Greyson! What if I turn my blog into a fansite! cheka.

The real topic... Recently, H&M released their collaboration with Versace a few weeks ago. Like I said I wasn't really a fan of the collection cause some pieces were leaning towards a hoochie look. It's not that I hated it, it just wasn't my cup of tea. Anyways, for the people who weren't feeling the Versace collaboration, weren't able to get a piece or whatever. DON'T FRET. H&M has already a new designer collaboration on the way this SPRING 2012. This label is actually a personal favorite of mine... MARNI. Yes the Italian fashion label started by Consuelo Castiglioni is collaborating with the fast fashion brand! When I read about this, oh the music in my ears. Upon seeing the news on my twitter feed, I could already imagine all the beautiful prints, fabric, texture, silhouettes of the designs and of course their MENSWEAR. I just love that they stuck to their their style since then and brand aesthetic of "European-inflicted bohemianism." Just like what Tim Blanks of style.com said that Consuela doesn't aim for the graphic kind of sexuality, but the "sensuality of the mind."

PRINTS PRINTS PRINTS

MENSWEAR!!! I can't wait till they show the lookbook!

Menswear Spring 2012(image source: HERE)

If you noticed or google their menswear designs aka Marni Man, they stick to a cleaner, polished, colorful, bold, younger look. Its also very easy to incorporate with your own closet. A lot of it can also be a staple/essential piece for your wardrobe/everyday wear which is always a great thing. Now hopefully this entry helped and get you guys excited for MARCH 8, 2012. Yes, there is a date for this collection already. Thankfully its on my birthday month, so I'll definitely be saving for this collection!

Model for Donatella

Last friday SoFA had its weekly Fashion Fridays, and I absolutely loved this last week's theme. Well obviously from the title of this entry, its pretty obvious.

FASHION FRIDAY: VIVID PRINTS

Upon seeing this, I immediately knew what my peg was from the H&M X Versace collection and what jacket I was gonna wear.

My Peg: not River my bellas, but the jacket and the prints. Now I don't have shirts with palm trees plastered over it, but I do have a shirt that had the same amount of color and green on it.

What I Wore: Applerust reversible bomber jacket, Forever 21 jeans, burger shirt, rosary necklace and Mundo at The Ramp espadrille flatforms

This jacket no doubt reminds me of Versace especially cause of the print. So proud I purchased this from my friend Peach. With this I no longer have to feel bad I won't be able to own a bomber with such a vivid print. As for the shirt I decided that the colors were so bright why not pair it up with the jacket. Is this Versace enough?

A pair of shoes I've been coveting the moment I saw them in Garage Magazine's October issue. I knew I had to contract The Ramp and reserve a pair! Not only are they comfortable, they add an extra inch to your height! I have been wearing them non-stop, and sometimes I'm afraid they'll get ruined! They actually remind me of creepers that were combined with a paid of espadrilles!

THANK YOU for these outfit shots: Tippi Sy

Heres a photo of some of the pieces from the menswear collection of Versace x H&M

Photo Via: HERE

Some of my favorite pieces from this collection is definitely the bomber jacker(absolute favorite), the studded leather pants, the studded leather jacket, the palm tree shirt and OF COURSE the hot pink suit! I absolutely prefer the mens collection of the ladies. Not being biased, but honestly some of the pieces from the ladies collection gives me the hoochie vibe. No offense.

Thats all for now bellas! Hope you enjoyed this photo heavy entry!

xx
