Afterglow

An outfit post! I wore this yesterday to class. I wanted to go for something simple with a touch of dainty. I felt inspired by the Vanessa Carlton's Carousel video. I was actually suppose to add a sun/floppy hat, but I actually wanted to keep things basic and of course add florals.

What I Wore: Forever 21 jeans and necklace, Folded & Hung floral clutch bag, connector ring from anywhere

photos via: Patricia Prieto

Don't you just love florals? It always adds this dainty-ness and romantic feel to an outfit. Plus, you will never believe how much this bag was. It was a total steal!

Thats it! Till the next post!

Accessory Therapy

This weekend was a blast! To start things off, I finally went out last friday. To summarize friday, I went to a friend's birthday dinner, and right after hopped all the way to Fiamma Fresh Fridays. Then saturday, I went to the almost fully renovated SM Southmall for a little retail therapy. Same goes for today, plus I finally watched Prom! I must say the movie made me miss high school a little bit! I recommend you guys see it and hopefully reminisce! ;)

I DIE
I've mentioned I did a little shopping, so I wanna show you guys some of my finds! I visited various stores on a mission to add new pieces(clothing) to my closet, but instead shopped for my BIGGEST weakness. Which is simply accessories.

Just G: Baby Doll cream ring, No. 8 Perfume bottle necklace, Baby Doll pink ring, Peter Pan Collar necklace.

Just G was the first store I payed a visit to this weekend. I automatically also remembered reading Tricia Gosingtian's blog. As I walked in I instantly fell in love, and can I say went a bit crazy. The accessories were just BUH-NANAS. If you're in to all things dainty and fairy tale inspired, then trust me you will go crazy. I know I did. I even thought the price would be quite expensive, but OW EM accessories range from 49-399. I actually got pieces same a Tricia G. The doll ring and the peter pan necklace. Fell in love with it upon reading her blog. 100% satisfied with my loot! Definitely paying Just G another visit real soon!

Forever 21: Pins and color scheme bangles

Forever 21 was quite blah this week, but I did find some interesting stuff. Especially the buttons, upon seeing it I knew exactly what to do with it. (Picture at end of post)

Folded & Hung: Leather cuff, Random Store: LOVE connector ring, SM: Cap

Close ups!
How I wore the Forever 21 pins!

Hope you guys enjoyed reading this post!

One of my favorite quotes, as Rachel Zoe would say "The Perfect accessory can make the difference between looking blah and totally to die for."

Born This Way

Before I post my next "boring" entry hehe I wanna do an outfit post! Now, this look I'll be showing was taken around March or April? I forget. I wore this to another typical day in school. I guess you can say that the title of this entry matches sweatshirt I'm wearing. I haven't mentioned this I think, but I love collecting celebrity/musician t-shirts! I actually have a growing collection of specifically Lady GaGa shirts. I try my best to haunt for them, but damn is it difficult! I've collected around 5 shirts already! Hopefully I find more! I currently want the one with a unicorn!

What I Wore: Topman Lady GaGa sweatshirt, Forever 21 jeans, H&M headband from Mads, Folded & Hung necklace, Payless moccasins, socks from Lauren

Thats all for now! Just a quick entry! Bad news though, I won't be going to Subic anymore this week. Some things came up, but its all good. For now I'll be enjoying my Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon!

November Finds

So far, November has been great in terms of finds. I was able to purchase some similar items I have seen in some magazines and websites. I have always loved the feeling of being able to find alternatives to items that are wayyy too expensive to some of our budgets. You'll be seeing a lot of that in this blog! Alternatives=LOVE

Now, I forgot to add on the first entry that my camera is broken, so I can't show you guys the alternatives I purchased. I compiled a collage of the similar items. I'll try my best to get a pic of the items!

1. Folded & Hung Studded Headband- Inspired by the Givenchy headband(picture above) This was such a steal! Now the item itself doesn't look exactly the same, but I definitely saw the similarities. This was such a great alternative to the original headband. You could actually use it as a bracelet too! I'll be sporting this on Thursday, since the look is Rocker Chic. Maybe the Christmas party too. Be ala Carrie Bradshaw meets Russel Brand. Thanks to my friend Mads for telling me about this!

2. Dexter Dark Brown Moccasins From Payless Shoes- I've always wanted a pair of mocs, the pair I have is very soft, and it really feels like I'm wearing marshmallows on my feet. Plus it brings out the inner Chuck Bass and Nicole Richie.

3. Double Studded Ring from Gold Dot- My friend Inna(thelittlebigspender) showed me this ring, and instantly I fell in love! Sadly a little accident happened to the ring, but it's nothing super glue can't fix.

4. Wrap Bracelet from Mia Casa- Another one of my favorite steals!!! An alternative to the Vita Fede Fasino Triple Wrap. A favorite of Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Miley Cyrus and etc.

5. Vintage Tiger Necklace from Mia Casa- This accessory was inspired by Ke$ha. I have always had this fondness of vintage looking accessories. The likes of old gold has always made me happy. Another steal!!!

Note again, the picture above aren't the exact items I purchased. I found alternatives to them. :)

I hope to show you guys soon much more alternatives to items that are a tad bit out of reach! Now that the bazaars are coming, it's time to shop and search! You never know what you'll find!

Rafael
