Hey dolls/bellas! Here I go again with my apology for neglecting my blog. I've been sooo wrapped up with different events such as Katy Perry's Concert and a lot more! Come to think of it, these last few weeks I've been out almost every day! Anyways I'm back and this time I will try to blog much more often! Its a new year and I want this blog to grow even more! For this entry, since I haven't done an outfit post for some time, here I go! If you're wondering what up with the title, well I've been in love with Lana Del Rey's album! It is just pure genius. Think cigarettes, flowers and everything dainty when listening to her! Anyways onto the post!

This look shot was actually taken way back on Christmas day, I just failed to blog about it during the holidays! Anyways I wore this to my family reunion, I wanted to go for something much more casual and try out the whole 1 color look. Hopefully, I do not look like the "Blue Ranger."

Sequin at a Time

While writing this entry I am currently getting ready for the SoFA Christmas party. If you guys don't know every year SoFA has a Christmas party with a theme, and this year the chosen theme was 70s aka Disco. Upon reading/hearing about the theme, I immediately was trying to figure out what I wanted to wear. I didn't know if I wanted to be a hippie or a disco diva! haha I decided to mix both since I've always loved the style of hippies and being a diva. cheka. Just today I was able to find the main piece to my outfit, and of course it had to have sequins. Whats life with no glitter and sequins. Nicole and I decided to hit Forever 21 right after class and search for the perfect outfit, and we were definitely contented with our finds. I was able to snag this beautiful basic black blazer with electric blue sequin sleeves. I immediately grabbed it upon seeing it. There was also a powder pink one, but Nic told me to get the black one. It was such a good choice too since I could definitely use it more often than the pink one.

The blazer is actually from F21's Heritage 1981. I have always been a fan of H81, idk if its me but I like the fit of their clothes more than F21's. I also noticed the clothes from H81 has much more character.

Again, the sleeeeevessssssss.

You can never have too many Party Headbands! Got this since, I'll be changing my gold knot headband to this when we head to Fiamma.

All I Want I Want for Christmas

Hey dolls/bellas! Its that time of the year again, in a few weeks we'll all be with our families enjoying the holidays. I just wanna share my wish list this Christmas, and don't worry I'm not asking you guys to purchase any of this. I just wanted to share it, and maybe you guys could share yours too! ;)

WISH LIST

1. Katy Perry Concert Tickets - I missed her last time and I won't miss her again! Wouldn't it be awesome to kick off 2012 with the California Gurl herself! I can't miss this!

2. Victorious Tote Bag - I usually treat myself to a Christmas gift every year, and its usually a celebrity or disney merchandise. Last year, I bought myself a Lady GaGa sweatshirt. This year I ordered something from Toys R' Us! I got myself the 18in tote Victorious tote bag since my Selena Gomez/ Wizards of Waverly Place messenger bag is super overused and I'm beginning to love Victoria Justice. Thanks to my friend Kristen! I ordered this item through my friend with no hesitation. Plus its the perfect size for my everyday use since I can fit my laptop, folders, magazines and etc. PERFECT SCHOOL BAG! Another bonus was it was on super sale and it had an awesome promo. From $19 to $14 and it comes with a free... Victoria Justice/Tori Doll! hahaha The inner kid in me. I can't wait for this to arrive this January! 

3. Forever 21 Gift Card - This would instantly make me the happiest person. Anything that helps me update my wardrobe for next year makes me super happy and I simply love Forever 21! Time to stock up on basics!

4. 3 Hole Doc Martens - If you guys haven't heard, Doc Martens recently opened in the Philippines. So happy hearing about this since the last time DMs were in the Philippines they closed down. I was just lucky enough to grab 2 pairs, both were on sale too. Now they're back and I'm eyeing myself a pair of simple black 3 hole docs!

5. Creepers - I have been coveting a pair non-stop since the day I saw Avril Lavigne wear a pair back then. I might add this to my gift to myself! 

6. Lady GaGa x Terry Richardson Book - Now all of you know how much of a Lady GaGa fan I am. This is definitely a must have for both GaGa fans and fashion enthusiasts. Making sure I get a copy of this. It would look so good next to my copy of Olsen Twins' Influence.

If I Ever Feel Better

To start things off, Happy New Year everyone!!! 1st entry for 2011!!! How was everyone's new year's eve??? Well mine was just a simple dinner with my mom's side of the family! We sang to songs such as Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Train etc. I gotta mention, we played with sparklers! I couldn't help, but mentally hear Katy Perry's firework playing in the back ground!!! I guess Christmas season is almost over once this weekend hits! I'm super sorry if my blogging has been inconsistent. I've been out of the house constantly. Well in this entry, I'll feature my outfits that I wore during the season, what I've been up to and my current playlist! Hope thats alright???

Retail Therapy!!! Definitely one of the best during this break!!! Ingrid, Kyo and I went all out in Forever 21 last week!!! It was perfect timing too since they had the best deals EVER! I mean it! Buy 1 take 1? How could you say no!!! Example: Bought a pair of taupe pants then got a free button up polo shirt in return! I was able to stock up on basic shirts, skinny jeans and headpieces(crown go to post inner momsen)!!! After New Year, Ingrid (officially my new shopping buddy/forever 21 buddy) and I went back! I was able to get more shirts, sweatshirts and a pair of jeans! I think I'm definitely ready for term 3 at school! At least my wardrobe/closet is! I visited Topshop and Topman too! I was able to purchase the Lady GaGa sweatshirt and a cinched headband! Both of which I have been coveting! I'm guessing enough shopping for now since I'm definitely satisfied with my buys! Right Ingrid??? :)

On the Eve of Christmas

It's finally the Eve everyone!!! I just wanna wish every single one of you the Merriest and Happiest Christmas! Hope you guys have a blast with all your family and friends!!! This Season...

Since it's Christmas, I wanna show you guys what I'm up to or loving at the moment!

1. Bangles- or as I'd like to call them 'Mangles.' I've always been into accessories, and I've realized that bangles were such a steal! I mean a fistful for 199-400? It spices up any outfit, a plain white shirt and a fistful of these babies, will get me a long way! Thanks Rachel Zoe! 

2. Glee Marathon/Christmas Songs- Last Christmas, I had a marathon of Gossip Girl episodes. This time I wanna have a marathon to the show, most of us fell in love with. As for Christmas songs, I've been listening to the playlist I created last year, and of course the Taylor Swift and Glee Christmas album. Get into season everybody!!! 4 more days!!!

3. Victoria's Secret Fashion Show- My friend and I had a marathon of the shows from 2008-2010. The ladies are just BEAUTIFUL, and a definite MUST WATCH every year! My favorites: Adriana Lima & Miranda Kerr

4. Cupcakes- I received a box of these babies from a friend, and they are just the perfect gifts for anybody and stomachs!!! I can feel the Holiday weight coming.

5. The Rachel Zoe Project- Definite must watch too! It shows that being a stylist isn't an easy job, but Rachel does kick some ass in this series! I'm still on season 2, but it's just pure love!!!

6. Chai Tea- My drink for all seasons. I usually get it iced, but since the weather has been quite cold hot chai tea would be the perfect combination with any book. 

7. Cannibal - Ke$ha- The songs are just sick!!!

8. Cat Eye shades- I found a great alternative to the Alexander Wang shades. Since my Mickey Mouse shades fell apart, I replaced it temporarily with a pair from Forever 21.

9. Lauren Conrad Style- I finally have time to read this gem of a book.

Sometimes The Accessory Makes The Clothes

FINALLY! Finals are OVER, the term is OVER and now it's time for Christmas break!!! I've been waiting for this day since the term started. A lil bit dramatic noh? It's just Christmas is my favorite holiday. Well today went smoothly, had dinner with the family to celebrate Lolo and Lola's 50th at Greenbelt. Met up with Inna for a bit too! This entry will just be a mini outfit post!

This is what I wore to the last day of school and to dinner! I wanted to wear something simple, but add a little color and ACCESSORIES!

Now a celebration isn't complete with a treat. After dinner, I was planning to purchase a pair of espadrilles, but sadly they were out of stock. They're gonna replenish on the 25th. Instead my tita and I decided to check out Aranaz. I've been dying to get this bracelet from them from the RIIR(Rags to Riches) collaboration. I was already braising myself that it would be out of stock too, but just my luck there were only two left!!! Special special thanks to my tita for it!!! Here are some pics!!!

The bracelet to me is just such a statement piece because of it's color combination. Provides such ethnicity to it's design, that it turns into a stand out piece! It certainly can add a splash of color to an outfit! Plus it's for a really good cause too!

BTW! I was left in shock today, seeing that a JUICY COUTURE STORE HAS OPENED!!! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE! I'm a sucker for their merchandise!!! hahaha

Another late late late update!!! I've been soooo busy with school to the point I've been very inconsistent with my blogging. Sorry for that, but I'm quite happy since Christmas is on the way and FINALS ARE FINALLY DONE! Well sort of I just gotta submit my project for FILLUS 1. On this entry I'll be blogging about last week's Fashion Thursday. The theme was Manila Fashion Icons, so it was really exciting!!! Now I was suppose to be Raymond Gutierrez, cause we wanted to be the Preview team. I decided to go the other way and come as my real style icon Carlos Concepcion. I had my whole look figured out the day before!

Only 9 more days till Christmas and a wish list never hurts!!!

1. Forever 21 Gift Certificates- Actually anything from F21 would be great!!! I have this thing every Christmas where you gotta shop for a 2011 wardrobe, New Year means new clothes!!! Accessories, shoes, and everything in between!

2. Gossip Girl Season 3 box set- This would be perfect for a lazy day, nothing better than some Chai and some Blair and Chuck. A mus for this coming break!!!

3. Combat Boots- Any brand would do, but I would die for a new pair!!!

4. Mulberry 'Alexa' Bag- A DREAM COME TRUE!!! I actually wanna star investing in one, but that might be hopeless with my habits. I'm planning to find an alternative instead!!! A satchel would be just fine!!!

5. Style A to Zoe by Rachel Zoe- I DIE! I have been on a Rachel Zoe craze! A definite must for another lazy day! I've gotta get this to add to my collection of books! Hoping to read this and continue with Lauren Conrad style!!! Chai would also be a great addition again!

6. Cannibal Album by Ke$ha- It's just a MUST!!!

7. More Skinnies- My favorite cut of jeans! I swear, I can NEVER have too many pair of jeans!!! A new set would be "buh-na-nas" for next year!!!

8. Fur Vest- I have been dreaming for the longest time to own something of pure fur. Faux of course!!! Another must for next year of course!!!

9. A Panther Ring- Just like Rachel Zoe! I have an Owl, but it's as fierce as a panther of course! Actually aside from this I'd love for more accessories! They are the key to an outfit sometimes. ;)
